WHY I BUILT HIVE 46
HI, I’M ALLI.
Wife. Mom of three. Former athlete. Coach. Believer.
And, yep… former fat girl.
I know what it feels like to look in the mirror and not recognize yourself anymore.
After becoming a mom, somewhere between raising babies, taking care of everyone else, and just trying to keep up with life, I lost a little bit of me.
At my heaviest, I was 240 pounds.
I knew I wanted to change. But eventually I realized this journey had to become about so much more than a number on the scale.
I wanted to feel strong again.
I wanted energy.
I wanted confidence.
I wanted to walk into a room and feel like myself.
And I wanted my kids to grow up watching their mom take care of the body and life God gave her.
So I started.
Not perfectly. Not all at once. And definitely not without hard days.
I just kept showing up.
One workout. One walk. One better choice. One prayer. One promise to myself at a time.
And somewhere along the way, I found her again.
The athlete.
The strong woman.
The confident mom.
Me.
Today, I’ve lost 100 pounds.
But what I’ve gained means so much more.
I found a love for strength training, discipline, community, and helping other women realize they are capable of more than they think.
WHY HIVE 46?
HIVE 46 was born from my own journey.
I wanted to create the kind of place I wish I had when I was starting over.
Not an intimidating gym.
Not a place where you have to already be “fit” to belong.
Not a place where your worth is measured by a number on the scale.
A place where women can come as they are and get stronger together.
HIVE 46 is for the mom who has spent years putting herself last.
The former athlete who misses feeling strong.
The woman who has never stepped foot in a gym.
The woman starting over for the tenth time.
And the woman who knows there is still more in her.
MY MISSION IS SIMPLE.
Help women get strong — inside and out.
I want women to leave HIVE 46 standing a little taller.
Not just because they lifted something heavy, but because they remembered what they’re capable of.
WHY 46?
The 46 is more than a number.
It comes from Psalm 46, a reminder of where our true strength comes from:
“God is our refuge and strength.”
That truth is at the heart of what we’re building here.
This isn’t about perfection.
It’s about showing up.
Doing hard things.
Taking care of yourself so you can keep showing up for the people you love.
And finding your strength again.
